WOYWW 323
This is just part of my desk today ( a dark wet day here in the south east of UK)
I have been making the most of my time off and have managed to "play" every day this week . To the left is just a few of the items I have made ( I think I blogged 7 times since my last desk upload -It won't last ! - you can see details in other posts). I have been using my brushos. but as water colours ( hence the paint pallet) .
I was lucky enough to go to a class on distress paints on Sunday run by Jane ( from
a few creations.
Okay here you go then the real mess- I had to use a flash as it's SO dark in here today.
Do pop over to the stamping ground to see Julia and all the info on how to link up YOUR desk .
Back Soon.
Soojay xx

ReplyDeleteLovely new stamps - I love Paper Artsy stuff - and the cards you've made are just gorgeous. I especially love the red flowers, and the shading you've done on them is beautiful, did you use watercolour paint or pencils?

ReplyDeleteI love your room, Soojay, and those cards are just gorgeous... I've filched the quote off the top one and put it on my Pinterest quotes board!! What lovely new stamps, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, and sorry to keep you in suspense - still! Not long to go now till the Big Reveal, though. Thank you for your good wishes for my next chemo - as for the accounts, they almost hold more terrors than the chemo lol!

I love your bold use of colors, as well as your fabulous taste of imagery. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love all your creations! The colors are so rich. And those are mighty fine stamps! Thanks for stopping by, and as I'm 53, my latest retirement date, according to our Soc. Security Admin., is 69. Do you think the inks will stay wet another 13 years? Hmm I may need to make sure to adjust my retirement acquisitions to be ink heavy in 12 years; lets see a financial planner account for that! LOL!

That eclectica stamp (and it's sister) just arrived in my mail box too! I just haven't had time to play with them yet (and a frowning hub wouldn't go away while I opened the mail and kept on about not believing stamps are so expensive and why I just don't draw by my self...) love that poppy, can't wait to try it on shrink plastic :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me earlier this week. Yes, I learnt soon after posting that they were goats in my picture and not sheep! Well, I am a city girl at heart and never too old to learn.
Sorry I'm so late in commenting, but we have been away for a few days.
