PaperArtsy Poppy Stamps
I bought this stamp at the class on Sunday - there are 8 stamps here and I know I will use them quite a bit. There are LOADS of new PaperArtsy stamps but I could only afford one set. I fell in love with the poppy .
The inspiration for background of the card is taken from a video I saw a Pinterest link HERE.
First I inked it with a pale distress ink to get an allover cover ,then I dabbed a clear embossing ink over in random patterns ( I have a really old Judikins bottle of clear ink). Next, I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the wet areas and embossed. I then took two or three sprays and sprayed all over the card, then rubbed off the embossed areas.
I stamped the Poppy on the card and also a couple of times on some white card. Then I painted the poppy ( stamped on the white card ) with brusho paints- I just used them as a water colour as they are lovely and vibrant. I used a gold paint around the petals, cut them out and layered them up on the card.
The middle and seeds have glossy accents on them.
I stamped the edges and added a sparkle with a wink of Stella pen .
The sentiment is die cut.
I am sure I will get LOADS more out of this set.
