A Blue poppy
Using the same stamps as the last post only this time painted in blue. Again with Brusho paints.
The background is from my first attempt at using a Gelliplate last week.
I have edged the poppies in pewter distress stain- painting it on.
Glossy accents applied as before to the centre and seeds.
The sentiment (and butterfly) is a free die (from a mag) using black card and painted with a Wink of Stella pen.

Morning, Sue, Wow...the blue poppies are brilliant, dare I say they really 'pop' out at you! The colour is very rich and vibrant isn't it. I think a couple of colours are going to be well worth trying out before too long. The distress strain around the edges of the petals are a great finishing touch. A beautiful card. xx
