WOYWW 582

This was my desk before I went to bed last night, still working on my "Bee" Tracy Evans book from a month ago- I made quite a bit of ground but still have loads more to do.
I had to quickly clear it all up this morning as I have a Julie Hickey workshop at 10am.

If like me, you have loads of projects on the go, I thought you might like to see how the current ( I am working on these) are stored- I use wham boxes - bought from the Plastic box Company - don't buy them from anywhere else , you won't find them any cheaper here in the uk. I store my stamps - either by designer or theme ( especially if they are older) in A4 plastic wallets.

At the weekend I took part in another Tracy Evans workshop and we all created a mixed media piece, this is mine. I have so much fun and learned loads.

I love all the textures and layers.

I am really happy with the outcome.

These were made last week  in part one of the Julie Hickey class.

Lots of inky backgrounds .

All ready to do the next step in today's class.

I bought the next set of the Janet Klein stamps and am in the middle of creating with them. Hopefully will be finished by next week.

I hope to visit a few more desks this week - sorry was end of term last week and a bit manic.
If you would like to join in with the blog hop to look at everyone's desks, pop over to Julia's blog to get all the info.

Have a great week - stay safe
Soojay xx

  1. That mixed media piece is fantastic, you have every right to be proud of it! And I like the cheerful backgrounds too, hope you enjoy this morning's workshop. But I have one really important question, why is it called a Wham Box, nothing to do with George Michael??

  4. I knew there had to be a silver lining on my Janet K stamps not arriving (I say they are lost but they cannot be claimed for until the 6th August) and that is that you will have used yours in some way that will give me ideas on what to do with mine when they do arrive.
Love your latest Tracy piece - mine just needs sticking but we went away straight after the class (painty fingers and all) and I came back with a bad back which is insistent on staying!
Lovely background papers with Julie for you to work with at a future date. Love the ones with script on especially.

  8. I loving the pieces from both workshops - very different in styles. Not quite sure why I haven;t done any online workshops (well I do know, it's not having a proper desk to work at where I can also see the computer! Have a good week Helen #4

  10. I have the exact same box on my desk - or very similar. I bought mine at The Range, I think - will bookmark the Plastic Box Company - they seem to have good prices. I adore your project - it looks wonderful and very mixed media indeed with all those elements. Thanks for your visit earlier - happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #23
