Well here it is - dark in here this morning and messy! I joined in with the ATDML Cyber crop over the weekend - well on Sunday - there are loads of classes and I am still doing a few. Everything is pulled out just in case .

Here's a few of the pages i completed. I don't scrapbook as often as I would like to , so it was such fun to use up a very tiny amount of stash.

there was an opportunity to buy a kit for each class and I did get two but not for these classes.

I even made my background paper here by smooshing distress oxides.

I bought the kit for Mel's class and finally scrapped Dan's tour of  Arsenal for his 21st ( 6 years ago)

We got up at silly o clock on Monday morning so we could travel  Felixstowe ( about 30 miles away) so we could dip our toes in the sea. WONDERFUL.

I went into school for the last week ( as requested by our head) I am not a teacher , and pupils were only in during the morning . It was lovely to see some of the staff  - due to social distancing , wasn't able to see all . Other than that I really didn't see the point! I can work from home. Looks like there will be no social distancing in September, So am really not looking forward to that .
Anyway I am officially on holiday now . Holiday has been cancelled until next Summer ( that's a weight off my shoulders) We were only going to Liverpool to see relatives, hopefully next year it will be more "normal" and we will be able to do that.

Have a fab week and if you would like to join in with the blog hop, pop over to Julia's blog where you can find all the details.

Soojay xx

  1. Those are fab LOs and your smooched background is perfect in the heart! How lovely that you got out for a bit of sea air too, bet that did you good. Thank you so much for the bracelet, it's really lovely and very delicate and I can get it over my huge hand! Thank youxx

  2. Loving the layouts Sue. We managed a socially distanced buffet for a colleague who was retiring after 30 years at the school last Thursday. It was so good to get together with everyone, even if we were all spread out in the hall. Enjoy your break. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

  3. Your layouts are lovely Sue, so pretty and I'm very envious that you got to dip your toes in the sea. Looks like you picked a perfect day.
School has been an interesting place but being back you get used to it and I think September will be ok, there are so many rules in place to keep everyone safe. We have to have all the windows open and dress accordingly, so I think that'll be bracing.
Our end of term do was on zoom, so very unusual.
Take care and enjoy your week

  4. Loving the journal layouts, you have been busy. Before I forget I noticed you mentioned about masks and glasses at Jan's. I have found that the reusable darted masks work well because you can get the glasses just over the top of them and then they don't steam up. I do have some stuff called Spectaclean which is also supposed to stop them steaming up but not used it for ages so I'm going to try it out again with the masks on so we'll see. Next term will be interesting. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x11x

  6. Hi Soojay. Goodness - what a week. Glad you got to dip yoyur toes in the sea. My younger daughter was assessing Lockdown the other day - the decision? - we missed water!!! They have no sea, lakes, or rivers near them - so have asked to come for a holiday next month. As they and I are an extended family that will be perfectly permissible and enjoyable!
The layouts you have done are great - well done.
    Take care. God bless.

  7. I'm late in the day visiting this week but it's better than last week's effort lol.
I've spent the day replenishing my basket of face masks...but as soon as I fill them they sell so it's a bit like painting the Forth bridge :-)
Really love your LOs...you've been busy.
    Hugs,

  8. Had a Doppler test to see if I needed Stockings, only need it for the one leg but there are 3 in a pack and I can replace every 6 months. Gosh, I am so old!
Loverly LO's on display for us to see and I do like the Distress background in the heart, very pretty and just perfect for the photo. I have never been into scrapping and just imagine that if I had been I would have to have a room like a library to hold all the albums. I am bad enough now with just cards making (which has developed into Mixed Media and other dabbles).
I thought you were a teacher, guess I just assumed when you talked about school. Hope you can avoid a lot of the things that Sarah has mentioned her role has involved. Just hope you can work safely come September.
How lovely to dip your toes in the sea, was hoping to do that by visiting our caravan this week but waiting in for things has put a stop to it. Maybe another week? Delivery slots and Tracy classes are just not working for us to go away. I'm not bothered but I do feel Chas needs a break.
Stay safe and enjoy your classes, maybe see you Saturday
    Hugs, Neet 6 xx

  12. Brilliant idea to start the day early at the seaside...what a great way to shake off some cobwebs. How lovely to see the beach looking so empty too! Am glad the holiday decision is made, one way or the other, I’m finding the not knowing part of it all to be the bit that causes the most anxiety to be honest, it’s just never off your mind is it! Love your scrapboook pages, you managed a fair few, blimey. I’m encouraged that you’re scrapping older pics too....my gal is 27 next week and I frequently find I’m choosing pics of her early teens or primary days to scrap! Absolutely no order at all in my albums, just what speaks to me on the day! Love the oxide background, and the ‘hem’ you’ve put on the page with that gorgeous picture of Megan.
