WOYWW 310

I had a tidy but that's about it really - apart from finishing my page from last week - I am half way though another.I have not been very productive (craft wise) . The copics are always there - I have been collecting for a few years now and some need more ink! The poppy On the windowledge is one from the tower of London. The box on the left is full of "bits" i might need.I keep a Birthday book ( home made of course) on my desk always - so I am ready for all birthdays- yer right!!
I have looked longingly at my desk but have been too busy to do anything about it!
Ohh by the way if you would like to join in here is the Link

Here is a close up of the page I painted.

I thought I'd show you other bits of my (ex dining) Craft room.

I have a "thing" for dies - The tiny memory box ones are stored on magnetic sheets in CD cases- The bigger spellbinder etc are in various plastic wallets.
By the way - I bought my magnetic sheets from Amazon and it is just over £1 for two sheets of A4 !! So much cheaper than craft stores. Its actually printable photo paper too ( not that I ever used it for that!)

I cut it down to fit the wallets.

Anyway- Sorry there's not much crafty going on - Hopefully I will get time at the weekend.
Please forgive me if I have linked to you 18# - I have no idea why - it SHOULD be 25#- My eyes must have been shut this morning !!

  2. Love the page. What's the plan for it? I'd be tempted to scan it, reduce it, punch it out and use it endlessly for card toppers :) Too pretty to use only once or hid it away.....

    Happy pre-crop WOYWW!

  7. Thanks for popping by my blog earlier today Sue and what a wonderful glimpse into your crafty world. Spotted your Tower of London poppy straightaway ... I have one too and just love it! My desk is normally a chaotic mess so you saw it at a very rare moment! I was interested in your colouring book - my friend (MaggieC - Silvercrafter) mentioned her Adult Colouring Book to me and I got the totally wrong end of the stick and wondered just what "Adult" content it held! Not sure if I was relieved or disappointed when the penny dropped. I am not a colourer-inner myself but love what you have done with that page ... just beautiful work! Happy WOYWW'ing to you! Love Debbie xXx

Thanks for the tip on magnetic sheets. I was only thinking yesterday I need some more.

  13. Your colouring is beautiful. It looks a very relaxing thing to do.
Love all your die storage too. Thanks for visiting earlier. I hope you are enjoying your Wisteria. I have an old one in the garden that is just about to burst into flower. I always wait for it every year, the perfume is amazing. Enjoy.

  14. Well, darn it, Sue (aren't you proud of me not using a naughty word there) you're work space is just too tidy!! I love the fact that you are so organised. I have to share my craft space with a chest freezer and a tumble dryer lol. One day perhaps it will be neat enough for me to take a picture.
I absolutely LOVE the painting, you are just too talented for words. I did get as far as buying a sketch book to use as an art journal...it has pretty white pages in it lol. I really need a kick up the bum to get me going. I'm sure even if it's not a brilliant work of art I'm sure that anything I try will be better than looking at blank pages :). x

  18. Love the page coloured in, look fantastic. You are so organized and those magnetic sheets I managed to get from a $2 shop once and never found them again. Now I use the papercraft brand ones that come in A5 sizes and I mount them onto chipboard for stability. Thanks for sharing your desk.
