WOYWW -309 ( 3 for me)

A mess that's what!! I am too ashamed to photograph the whole desk! There are piles either side that desperately need to be sorted and put away. Even in this section I can see nail varnish I applied before work yesterday!
I have three of these colouring books for some time - my Sister bought me one for Christmas ands the others I bought soon after. This page is from secret garden and as you can see- I am using water colours. The clear case ( caught by the tiny amount of light we have today) holds my teeny tint paint brushes. I have to say that it IS very therapeutic to do - especially after a manic day at work! I have not decided if I am going to just keep the block colours or do some shading later - thats what I love about water colours you can change your mind :)

  2. Ah, but us deskers want to see the piles of stuff, lol...you know, the juicy, warts and all stuff!! :-) I love that watercolour you're doing...funnily enough, I'd looked at The Secret Garden on Amazon the other day. I love watercolours too - haven't done for ages, then used them to paint my ATCs the other week and realised just how much fun they were!

  3. I see you have the bigger designs - this one is coming along beautifully.
I keep looking at these larger books but at the moment I'm sticking to the smaller journal size ones to see how I go.

  10. I have ALWAYS found colouring in relaxing, but not sure I would think so with a brush. Copics, yes, but watercolour? eeek!

Happy late in the day WOYWW!

  11. Lovely tin of watercolours and those teeny weeny brushes are perfect for carrying around in a bag. the colouring books must be good for relieving stress, very relaxing and absorbing ... well, all colouring in seems to do that. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #51

  15. Oh there's no shame here, the only problem with piles at left and right is they end up toppling! we need to see, in case you've got something we haven't!! Love the idea of some quiet thoughtful painting...very absorbing. Kinda making me want to buy a book myself. I daren't!
