Postcards

I have been playing with some of those yummy stamps that arrived last week.
I wanted to make some postcards for a few of the year 11's who are leaving very soon.
Be gentle with me as this is my first attempt at anything like this.

I used distress stains, inks and some spray and masked off ( not very well!) the centre.

I put the postcards in between some heavy books while finishing off the drying and before the stamping - to TRY to stop the card buckling too much.

I will play some more to see if I can get a better result.

  1. Hi Sue,
These are really good! I'm still battling with ATC's so am in awe with the results you've managed to get on your first try at postcards. They didn't buckle too much did they but I was wondering if water colour paper would be better with that much saturation? I think I've got a stamp that looks a bit like that, so I may be tempted to have a try. x
