Thank you cards - and distress inks

I have some Thank yous to make as it is very near the end of term ( yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy)
I thought I would use some of the backgrounds that I have made with distress inks and my new Brusho paint powders.

I love how the cards look the same but are different.  I cut a postcard I had made with distress inks into four to use a piece on each card. I stamped the heart onto a piece of card that I have been playing with brusho powders and cut them out. I also stamped a teeny butterfly onto to some more "practise" card.

I used a sparkle pen on the butterfly
Then 3D foam to attach the heart. A die cut sentiment, a few "dots" of liquid pearls and done.

Even the pieces that don't turn out so well can be used this way .

  3. They are brilliant, Sue. I was looking at the Brusho paints. Sadly they are a bit out of my league right now at over £3 a pot...but I think that they may well be worth saving up for a few in the future as the results you got using them are just fantastic. x
