WOYWW 318
It's Wednesday again !! This week (if you saw my last post you might already know) I am working on making my mini calenders again. With the help from Mary Anne, I have some new tiny 2016 colourful sets already printed out (instructions HERE). Every year I get more requests, so I thought I would start a little earlier to give me plenty of time.
As it was pay day ( and before it all went on bills etc) I bought a few more sprays- these were not too expensive and I had not seen them before- I will let you know if they are worth investing in. I don't have that many but I do find that the ones I have tend to get blocked( even if I wipe them straight after use) ..Do you have any recommendations?
The next calender almost ready to assemble - DO pop over to Mary Ann's blog to see her Fabby version. Its SO different to mine.
A sneak peek at my tags for the next UKS tag swap.
If you would like to play along with the WOYWW blog hop , Please pop over to Julia's Blog for all the details.

Dinky little calendars!! enjoy your new sprays- it's important to buy stash before food, I find.. lol!! Happy WOYWW Helen 2
ReplyDeleteMary Anne is so generous with her printables, isn't she? I love your little calendars and think it's great that you've created something so unique :-). Good luck with unblocking the sprays!!

Doesn't Mary Anne share everything...all the time she spends researching and creating, she really is a gem of generous. I love what you're doing, no surprise here that the calendars are popular. You're the second person I've visited today who is working on end of year stuff. Erm, Argh!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, what a super idea, mini calendars and not time like now to get them organised - lovely tags too. Have a great week Cheers RobynO#11
ReplyDeleteLove those little calendars and the tags. Peg R 17
ReplyDeleteThose little calenders look a great idea. I love your butterfly tags. When you find an answer to the blocked sprays do let us know. It happens to me all the time too. Have a great day. Barb#16 xx
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely tags and the mini calendars are a great idea, I did't look too closely at the sprays, don't want to be tempted by anything new at the moment!!

Ooh you've got lots going on - that's a lovely idea to make little calendars, and the butterfly tags are absolutely gorgeous. Hope you have a great week,

Well I just had to drop everything and go check out how you made these--I love them and I've pinned one of those photos for future reference too! Have a great week. Sandy Leigh #37
ReplyDeleteYour calendars are so cute! What a great gift they make. :) Here's what I have learned about sprays: don't shake the bottles in an up and down motion. Hold them upright and tap them against your hand until they have mixed. The up and down motion is what blocks the hole in the spray head. Hope that helps.

thanks- will make sure i do that. x
DeleteLove the calendars, they will make a great gift. I find it's better to store sprays horizontally rather than upright if they contain Mica as that helps to stop them blocking too. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 30
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip X
DeleteWhat fab little calendars. They'd make great Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog.
Happy WOYWW

Love everything that is on your desk at the moment Sue. The calendars are way cute and those tags are fabulous. I haven't seen those sprays before so I look forward to reading what you think of them. The tips that you have been given are ones that I have used with mica sprays and they do help but of course, you will always find a blocked one when you have the least amount of time to sort it out LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

I have some clogging sprays too, really a pain! Hope these work for you :)

I can't believe that you're working on calendars in July but maybe that's why I'm always in such a panic by the beginning of December... I'll never learn.
ReplyDeleteThey look fabulous and no wonder they're popular.

I had nothing but problems with the Fireworks spray. They clogged after 1 use and never could get them to spray again. I haven't used the other 2 but I hope they work for you. Those tags are wonderful. I love the colors and that they are simple yet have charm. Diane #39
ReplyDeleteGreat projects on your desk and I love the color of your cutting board and the scalloped edges. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW and thanks for dropping by!

Your mini calendars are very sweet, I can see why you get orders for them. Vikki #53
ReplyDeleteThe dylusions don't block for me, but all my glimmer mists have clogged. Sometimes I'll pour some into a mini-mister to get a spray, but usually I just take the top off and flick the end over my project to get some drops. Love the projects, especially the tags with their twinkling stars. Happy belated WOYWW!! #4i
