Saturday Playing while the boys are at football.

Creating ( in between doing the laundry and cleaning the bathroom).
I started making this set a while a go.

I LOVE these "rectangle" fresh water pearls and have bought a few stands. I have them with Ruby and Sapphire beads. Here they are used with Emeralds. I know that they are not Gem Cut, rather bead quality, but I just love that they are all natural genuine precious gems.

These ones are mine and not for sale but do let me know if you would like some.

I was reading my daughters making cards magazine and I was instantly drawn to the beautiful designs by Kassa Hayselden. She has used the adorable Wonky Tonk Girls Stamps    designed by Tracey Easson to make some truly beautiful pieces.

I HAD to buy a couple - at the moment there are only four and I know I will buy them all.
This one is called Sophia and is painted with water colour paints . The background was created with brushos and a metallic spray.
The dotty paper has been stencilled.

This one is yet to be made into something and is the first one i painted. Again with water colours, I almost copied this one from the mag as I loved the way the hair was coloured. I used watercolours and various sprays.

I stamped twice and layered up the hair.

 This is my fav.

I also did a purple version.

watercolours are perfect for these stamps.

Now ready to paint the next one -Francesca.

I also managed to make another paracord bracelet - hubby wanted one in black.

Back soon
