Week 9 of Wanderlust Classes
Where does the time go!!
I am now in the middle of week 9 of the Wanderlust online art classes. I HAD intended to post during half term but that was a week or two ago.
Today is the second day of sunshine here - thank goodness , the rain and dark has been so depressing.
Here is some of the recent work : Not in any order
This is week 7- Scary drawing a flower without taking the pen off the paper.
This is week 3 - using a jelly plate to transfer a photo
My mum and her sisters.
I did week 3 and week 6 together as they both used the Jel plate.
We created a scene from torn pieces of jel printed paper. The one on the left is a scene that I masked but I prefer the torn pages on the right hand side.
Week 8 has been my fav so far - we made textured paper and then turned it into a book
i am happy being fiddly and added Ing sewing.
one of the ladies thought this said "Love Wine" - Its actually "Love Wins" ha ha.
I did the class a second time so that I could have a page in my journal
This weeks class ( class9)
We are creating a hanging - mine will be small enough to fit in the journal.
It involves lino cutting - I found this "new" vinyl online - much easier to cut.
some of the symbols I am using
Can you see the deliberate mistake ? - Yes when printed , it is back to front!!
I made another one.
This is the canvas so far - I am waiting for it to dry and then will add some collage sheets, weaving and other bits and bobs.
I have been practicing with my lovely water colours - Of course I am going to do a beach .
I bought some new stamps and watched Andy Skinner demo this technique. Go check it out.
I messed up the sentiment on this one so need to sort it out.
I have two daughters with a birthday in April - This will be for one of them.
Back soon - hopefully with more.
