Playtime

I have been playing with all sorts of media this weekend.

I have lots still to do!

First up is the week 9 class at Wanderlust with those lino cut stamps from last time:

Painting on calico to make a hanging ( mine is a bit smaller and glued into my journal)

We included weaving

I painted a daisy and made some paper to emboss with my " breathe" stamp, from kitchen role and PVA)

Some of my jel print background papers and stamped background.

This week we are playing with Wire to make a chandelier type hanging with all sorts of media - I have loads of ideas but am waiting for supplies to arrive - Good old Amazon - hopefully tomorrow.

In the mean time I played with salt and water colour to make some backgrounds:

I really like the Blues.
I did a few that didn't work as well and have used them to make the cards below:

I adore the colours she used - I think mine are a little more blue than green .

Theses are some of her Paperartsy stamps

I did this one twice as I forgot one of the border layers and had some spare backgrounds.

I still have the school art book to do and a simple mini book to make ready to teach on Monday at my daughters placement.

Back Soon

Sue xx
