WOYWW 584

This is my desk at 9.30 this morning. I started a workshop on Saturday but have yet to finish it - I had to pop out in the middle of the Sunday class and then it has just been too hot to work in here. So not much has happened this week. I still have about 4 projects on the go and am hoping once it gets a little cooler, to complete them.

here are a couple of the completed tag book pages from Tracy Evans workshop. I have signed up to the next one in a couple of weeks.

I lost these dies over the weekend and spent a whole day (and a bit) looking for them- in drawers, boxes , behind stuff and under my table - I eventually found them in with some medical files!!! Lesson learned ( for now anyway!) .

In other news- Hubby went into work to look around after finally getting a letter this week. He starts nights again tonight ( after almost 6 months away ) . I have spent all my training giving him coping strategies and reassuring him - he said that he does feel a lot calmer and more in control now - so that is good.
My car went off for its MOT today - so cross your fingers.
I am late as we had to take son to placement this morning - I hope the transport is sorted by September as we will be back at work by then and won't be able to do it.  Anyway enough whining, if you would like to join in with the blog hop - pop over to Julia's blog where all the details are.
I hope to have more to show you next week.

  1. Those tags are fantastic, I love the orange colours - everyone who did the workshop seems to have really enjoyed it! It's tough getting back to normality in work or school so I do feel for you and the family.

  3. Hi Soojay, good that your hubby is reassured, thats so important. Love the tags, quite a few WOYWWers are doing Tracys workshops I've noticed. But I'm afraid it's just too hot for me, my mojo has slunk off to find somewhere cool I think. Wish I knew where it was, I'd go join it! Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #4 X

  4. You weren't whining. Glad you have calmed hubby down, how do you feel about using some of those strategies on me now (only kidding). Hope he feels much better about returning to work now, it must be a worry when you have been away for so long., I wonder how the kids will cope after 6 month of no school. Glad I am no longer a teacher.
Love your tags, especially the flower underneath the circle. your leaf prints are gorgeous too - I loved doing them and wondered why I have not done them before - I did them donkey's years ago with my Girl Guides, I think.
Anyway, stay calm, cool and safe
    Hugs, Neet 8 xx

  8. Your tags are lovely Soojay, the leaf prints remind me of Spring and Summer activities with my pre-school toddler groups I miss those days, you'll make them even more fabulous when finished, it really has been too hot for anything. It's a stressful time for so many with return to work on many lips, I hope all will be well and calm for hubby & all the best with the MOT, so much safer to travel in your own car than public transport. Take care & I hope the cool comes soon so you can carry on crafting.
    Happy WoywW Tracey #3 xx

  10. I’m late, sorry. I think the internet melted yesterday! I hope the car passed its MOT. No matter how confident he is, new the car is, I always have a niggle of doubt over it. I guess it harks back to the days when we couldnt afford to drive anything that didn’t just about clean us out every time it needed something to be done on it! Lovely tags, so interesting to follow round the gals who took part in Tracys workshop, the same but different from choices of colours and images right down to how much ink is applied, its fascinating! It is too hot to sit in front of a window at the moment, so I hope you get some cool time soon! Relieved that you’ve managed to de-stress your lovely hubby a little, we could all do with your training I think. My word you are such a busy person!
