Its very dark in my craft room this morning - sorry about the glare from my lamp- should have moved the glass mat!
I have been colouring in some more Janet Klein stamps - They are so cute.
At the weekend , along with Neet , I joined in with another Tracy Evans workshop.
This time we used our gel presses to make backgrounds to turn into a mini book.
As always there was a lot of fun and laughing.
I am still working on the cover and some of the pages.
I also decorated some little wooden tags with Janet klein images.
Not been out much this week as it was too cold and wet- this is one of the photos i took with the new camera- i need to watch some lessons to get more out of it though .
Please pop over to Julia's blog for all the info of how to join in with the weekly blog hop xx

Oh lovely colouring, Soojay, and really fab little wooden labels, what a great combination. Love those images...feel a justification for purchasing rising up in me! How lovely to bump into Neet at an online workshop, and what a fab project! Beautiful backgrounds, and I’m guessing the flower images are Tracy’s? They are lovely aren’t they, talk about super clever woman! Wether here hasn’t been great, actually its raining now, and it makes me even more thankful that on the whole, lockdown weather has been glorious. Not sure I could have managed 3 months of this!
ReplyDeleteCool projects this week Sue. The blue flowers on that background are stunning and the MDF tags are cute! Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #17
ReplyDeleteMorning Soojay. Your colouring is really beautiful. You had a load of fun on the workshop - and produced lots of lovely things. Well done. Cute tags, too.
ReplyDeleteTake care. Stay safe. God bless.

ReplyDeleteHow lovely that you bumped into Neet on the online workshop - it looks like you had fun and the results are amazing - I love the beautiful vivid yellow against the pale green/aqua background , those colours sing to me - and the bright blue flower is just stunning. I'm loving the tags too .
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week and some sunshine so you can get out and use your new camera some more.

I love what you've been doing with Tracy Evans, Sue, she such an inspiration isn't she. The colours you've used are beautiful, so soft.
ReplyDeleteI must admit that the Janet Klein characters aren't me really but you've coloured them beautiful and the little tags are really cute.
Enjoy playing with you camera. Lets hope the weather improves for you to get out as the gardens are at their best at the moment.
Have a good week

Oh you are making my dilemma even worse than it was an hour ago. I commented to my bestie that I liked the Janet K images after seeing your original book. Now she has come along with two offers that she could get me discount on if I went for them (under her name). I was being strong until I saw your tags. They are so beautiful. Then I thought I could not do justice to them like you do so problem solved. But I am still wavering.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I was not on at weekend - must have dreamed of me.
Hugs, Neet 11. (smiling at the thought) xx
I must have - I was sure I saw you ha ha - sorry about the images, I am aware that they are not for everyone. I would hold off until you are 100% sure- nothing worse than spending your well earn cash and not using them xxx
DeleteHi Soojay, those stamps are fabulous! Love all the characters. Great job on the gel press book too, love what you've created. The oranges and blues you've used on the various flowers are stunning! Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #13 X
DeleteHi Sue, I so love Tracey and her videos they are so much fun though I never seem to get to the live event and tend to watch it on catch-up. Those JK girls are so sweet, love them to bits. Many thanks for the comment over at mine too. Have a lovely week and a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x19x
ReplyDeleteHi Soojay, the colours on the workshop backgrounds are gorgeous - I love all shades of turquoise/green/blue. Then again, I also really love purples and lilacs ... the little wooden stamps are cute. I've not heard of Janet Klein - but I could see myself colouring in those little ladies! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am keeping positive about my daughter's wedding - being cooped up at home for 3 months is not helping matters, and missing my family, but people are having it far worse. Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #3
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those Janet Klein images! Such fun and of course the colourisation is beautiful. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #23
ReplyDeleteHi Soojay, love your journal pages. Love the colours yo9u have used. How do you go to these live events? I did look on her Facebook page, but couldn’t see anything coming up. Do you have to pay? I am busy with ICAD at the moment, s great opportunity to try different techniques. Angela #28
