JustRight Upcycled Woodgrain Background stamp

This is another stamp I ordered when I ordered the Stiched flowers. It is a Big stamp and lovely to use. I have been playing ......

There are loads of ways you can use this stamp and I have hardly started!

I will show you how to get each effect ( and the mistakes I made along the way)

So this is stamped with Dristress ink ( Walnut stain) - left to dry and then painted over with gelatoes ( any watercolour would do).

This one was stamped with the same ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder and then painted with gelatoes but again any water colour will do ( and you don't have to wait for the ink to dry :) )

stamped with a brown stazon onto patterned paper - I tried to emboss it with clear embossing powder but the power only stuck in a few places.

This one was embossed with Judikins clear embossing ink ( versamark will give the same effect) and then I used a white embossing powder. I then painted with gelatoes and rubbbed some of the paint off with a babywipe. The embossing powder didnt stay on as well.

For this one, I painted some watercolour paper with the colours first and then stamped onto with the walnut stain - as you can see, I needed to wait a little longer for the paper to dry. I really like this one so will try it again and wait for it to dry first! No embossing this time.

I meant to do this one with clear ink but I had't cleaned the stamp up properly , so got a pale brown. I used frosted embossing powder and the painted as before.

My second attempt at using white embossing powder- This one worked a little better.

I used clear ink again and then the shabby blue stampendous embossing powder. Painted with a pale blue colour.

Back later with one used on a card.
