Making the most of the last couple of days

of my Easter holiday. I have a day training on Monday and the kids are back at school on Tuesday. So today (after i tidied and hoovered) I said "no housework" - of course Hubby brought flaky pastry sausage rolls for lunch and I just noticed pastry all over the carpet!!
Anyway - I always have half a dozen coloured images waiting to be made into cards and here is one.
A Sarah Kay image(I do have the stamp but this is a digi) .

Just simply coloured with copic pens.

A tiny amount of glitter added to the hat and ribbon.

In February my sister Annette and I went to a creative Heart and Soul retreat and this was from one of the amazing classes we took.
Monique Jacobs took this class- an album that she used as a calendar but I wanted to use it for Megan's Prom photos.  Both Nats and Dan went to a Special school and didn't have a prom , so , Meg was the only one to go to one.

The cover was really thick chipboard covered in wadding and material .
I love the fabric flower. I only got this far at the retreat - so the rest has been done this week- I still have lots to do.

90% of the papers came with the kit- I have just raided my stash for papers to compliment .

I really have added very little except for the photographs- as it was a calendar, there are 12 pages .

I have played with a few photos by using my die cutting machine and spellbinder dies.

I even added some gems to the photo.

There is still loads of room for journal ling

Probably my fav photo - We surprised Meg and two of her friends by getting a horse and carriage to take them to Prom. The driver was telling Meg how he had just got off a film set with Johnny Depp !

I might be back with more ..you never know - although I DO have to get the hoover out again!

  1. Hi, Sue! Love all your photos in your album - it is lovely. Your sweet little card is adorable - brightly colored chicks, and those little toes wriggling in the soft new grass - wonderfully shaded and colored - Very pretty!
