Catch up
It was a very busy Summer with very little creating.
We went away to visit daughter and family in Northumberland and Liverpool.
We had a new kitchen installed ( including the ceiling) and then went shopping for a new fridge and cooker.
I did create for the school swap book but forgot to photograph.
I am about 6-8 classes behind in the Wanderlust classes but i can catch up later.
We don't have a crop on Otley in August , So I am really looking forward to going next Saturday.
Anyway , after a quick tidy, I joined in with this weeks Wanderlust class to make two boxes.
The first is inspired by the Japanese concept of Ikigai :
We painted with black gesso and added texture and embellishments on the top of the box.
I also added texture paste.
we made cards to keep inside.
We made a second smaller box to keep a mini album in.
I really enjoyed playing and being creative after a few weeks.
Sue xx
