Arty Stuff

I managed to get lots of arty stuff done over the long weekend .

First up was my school journal swap - the prompt was " my head space"
I didn't dare do all the other stuff - just the happy things. Sometimes it feels like I have a 100 tabs open !!!

Next up is one of the Wanderlust classes by Jane Chipp

we made a mini book from cotton and silk fabrics and painted the pages with a mixture of paint and plaster of Paris.

We added papers, texture paste.

I also stamped and embossed some pages.

we poked holes with a joss stick and sanded bits to make marks

I also added some printed images from Art House Whimsy
She has some really beautiful images- I can highly recomend.

The back.

Next is another class this one is by Theresa Pastoriza - Tan

We used an A3 sheet of paper and covered it with collage, gesso, ink , writing and acrylic paints.
We then folded it making 1 cut to turn it into a book.

I added some more images from Art House Whimsy , collage papers , die cuts and embellishments.

Ohh and finished off with splatters.

Next is a Folio with three small booklets from the Faded Memory Lane range at 49 & Market .
I watched a you tube video and followed along with Nuneka . I LOVE her videos .

Each booklet is three double pages sewn together - the journal kits comes with enough for two pages, so I the third page myself with inks and stencils.

I made one for each of my children.

I really love this paper range and i *think * I have bought everything there is to buy in this range. Eeek!

The kit comes with lots of bits including the tags to decorate.

I have another kit to make up but I will make it less bulky .

That's it for now but the monthly crop is coming up at Otley this weekend so hopefully I will be back soon with some pages.

Back soon
Sue x
