Happy Easter - Art for school

 How did it get to Easter already??!!

I did my School art book swap today - the theme was "Forest Floor"

I do have lots of photos taken last week of the Thornham Woods walk but I wanted to use leaf die cuts.

I used Tim Holtz Fragmented leaves and some cheap Amazon fragmented leaves. I think it would be more realistic if they were mostly oak leaves but I am happy with this.

I added a bit of sparkle to the snail shell.

A tiny frog from 49 & Market

I coloured some water colour and mixed media papers with inks and cosmic shimmer powders, die cut them and then inked the edges. I painted a background with acrylics and then stuck the leaves down and added a few collage elements. I am just waiting for the gloss to dry and then will stick it into the book ready to pass on.
