Mixed Media pages
I love playing with all sorts of different mediums- I am aware there are so many more that I have not tried yet. Hopefully I will get to experiment a bit more with the Wanderlust course next year.
In the meantime, I found Lemon Creations on YouTube she is amazing and worth a follow. I was inspired by the first two pages here:
This page was created by sprinkling on power paints ( I have lots of different brands) some have mica in them, then spritzing with water and while wet, stamping into it. When dry, I used some texture paste- but was not meant to be as thick as it is but I have had it for a few years and I like how it turned out.
I used a few different stamps in black ink and a water colour splattering along with white ink splatters.
This was inspired from the black and white monochrome page that she made. Die cut shapes and cut out collage flowers. I used some rubons text and black in splatters.
I edged with a black jell pen.
This page was inspired by Maemi on You Tube. She also sells her amazing collage books on Amazon- I am addicted.
I now realise that I should have edged the fairy with some brown ink so that she blends into the page better.
This was created with blended distress oxides, splashes of water and oxide colours and star stencils.
I finished with a tiny amount of glittery stickles on the planet and the flowers.
I have a great time at the Otley crop last week and will upload my pages next time.
Back Soon
