MIA - Part 2

 I have been creating .

I LOVE the new Tim Holtz Sizzix vault dies and have managed to buy two - so far with another on its way in the post ( along with the new distress colour ). Its my birthday next week and that's my excuse.

I used my original dies for these two cards ( I made more than two but I stupidly ruined the others by stamping and embossing directly onto the linen card and the heat warped it).

I used water colour paints to paint the die cuts that were cut from white card. I loved the effect the Tim Holtz makers got from using the watercolour pencils but It didn't work for me - yet!

I used wax seals with pastel coloured wax.

Yayy - The dies arrived. I used the floral for the background.

After using the distress oxides for the background, I painted on some liquid pixie dust and also over the top cut from black card stock.

I shaped the top to give a more 3D look.

I still have two more in the process of being made.

I have also made hubby two pearl necklaces and he has already broken one!!

I need to mend it and will show you a couple of other jewellery pieces I have made next time.

I have signed up to ATDML's monthly challenge with Ann Freeman to take a photo most days and create a page a month.
