WOYWW 595

I know - long time no see!!- Wednesdays are now my busiest day . Apart from being back at work and having to stay late for a meeting after, I also have to sort out taxis and lunches and get two of my adult children ready for their placement on a Weds.
Anyway- its half term Yayyy - so this is my very messy desk.

Both of Tim's new sets of snarky cats arrived this morning - i love them.

Also this fab stamp from Lavinia. I LOVE the words and thought I would make up some postcards for school with well being contact numbers printed on the back.

I have given in and made three Christmas cards- couldn't resist using the new Janet Klein stamps from Aall and Create.

I love these stamps

I may be making a few more this week - along with the Christmas Snarky cats.

I have been making loads of hoop earrings and a few necklaces for the store and a whole load more for a possible Christmas craft fair - not sure yet if it will go ahead but i have spent most evenings creating just in case.

Well that's me caught up for a bit - I will do my best to join in again - i need to be a bit more organized.
I can't believe that we are half way though half term already - i am So ready to retire.! ha ha.

If you would like to join in with the weekly blog hop , pop over to Julia's blog where all the details are .

Take care

  1. It’s lovely to see you here today Soojay! You’re the second desker I’ve seen with the cats stamp, they’re fun; I think stamping those words out with helplines on the back is a thoughtful idea which will be appreciated. Lovely jewellery as always, hope the fair goes ahead!

  2. All of a sudden I seem to be seeing those JK images all over the place. How did I miss them? They are just my style! I also love your bangles. I have a LOT of beads from making stitch markers (for knitting) and it seems they might be useful for something like those. Might be a good stocking stuffer for the daughter! Bet she would love then. Nice to see you and your desk...

    Happy WOYWW!

  5. You do sound very busy! Shame you can't work from home - my boss told us that we can if we want to (even though I think she would have preferred us not to) but she didn't have to tell me twice LOL - I love working from home - and truth be told I accomplish more than in the office - plus there was a confirmed case of Covid in the office building - right next to us, so I'm glad I chose not to go in! Super cards and jewellery - glad you could take part this week and thanks for your visit! zsuzsa #9

  7. Hi Sue, thanks for the earlier visit - I'm struggling today as the internet keeps dropping - takes the joy out of desk hopping! Lots of projects to delight on our desk. Love that Lavinia word stamp and the snarky cats are on my list, tho I'm still hoping to snag the originals. Have a good week, enjoy half term, stay well, stay safe, Cindy #19 xx

  8. Sorry to hear your Wednesdays have become very busy - you have been missed and after next weekends workshop I was going to get in touch to check all was well with you.
Yes, I fell soft and bought the JK collection from Hochanda (only from James really). I mean, who could not buy it after seeing the lovely images Leonie showed and i was in love with Charlie from the beginning, Didn't get the Christmas ones though. Now seeing what you have done I am wondering ...
In fact I bought a bit too much this time so must pull the reins in although I spent again this last weekend - two old A4 stamps I just had to have for this workshop I am in the midst of doing. Not that I have done much - my back has not let me.
Sounds as if you have not much time to be doing any of Tracy's classes at the moment. Wish you could win the lottery and retire so you could stamp and play a lot more. Looking forward to the cats being in use and you showing us what you have done with them - there are some great words aren't there.
Enjoy what is left of your half term. Take a breather for yourself.
    Hugs, Neet 13 xx

  12. I don’t know how you fit it all in, I really don’t. Loving the JK images...I may have some on their way, you really started something for me!! It would be lovely if the Christmas Fair was a go-er, I fear there’s going to be so few opportunities to get in the spirit by wondering around such things, I love them and will really miss out if I can’t get to one or two!

  16. Agh!! (Hello sorry I'm late!) Everyone seems to have those TH Cats, everywhere I look they are out of stock...unless you pay loads of postage from USA. They are lovely and you can do so many weird and wonerful things with them. Hope to see you next Wednesday! Happy WOYWW!
