WOYWW 559

Not joined in for a while but its half term so Yayyy. I have a little time .
I have been making the most of  the time off and been creating. I even did a few scrapbook pages- joining in with the ATDML cyber crop at the weekend. This has inspired me to continue and am currently in the process of  doing a late Valentine page, nothing is stuck down yet so will likely change before it is completed.
I started classes with the Life Book 2020 - so my desk has a lot more art supplies , including the gorgeous golden paints at the back. my die cutting machine is also ready to go ( to the left of the desk - I cropped the photo so you cant see all the laundry drying on the right hand side - hate this time of year for laundry!
Its 9am on Weds and Daughter no 1 is now waiting for a lift , so I had better finish this post and get a move on.

If you would like to join in with the desk hop , pop over to Julia's Blog where all the details are.
Happy Wednesday xx

  1. Yay to half term too. It seems a long time since the Christmas hols. I have so many jobs to catch up with this week but I am trying to make time for a bit of creativity too. Love your layout.

  3. I love that LO you've done, it works so well and really enhances the photo - so many seem to overwhelm the picture which to me (as a non scrapbooker!) seems to be the main point of it all! It's lovely to see you back on the desks and don't worry, the clothes horse is just out of shot in the JanCave too, lol!

  4. Hi Sue, love the journal page. I agree, hate this time of year for laundry, annoys me to have to use the dryer! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X

  5. Love the page your working on. I'm lucky enough to have a utility with a tumble drier in so what doesn't go in the drier can hang above the radiator in there for drying.

  7. I remember those days when I looked forward to half term - enjoy the time and craft if you can. Thanks for the lovely comments re books and video although I must say my voice was a bit 'crooked' after four 'takes' and I had to grab a glass of water before that one. I look forward to seeing what you do with your book when you get around to making it up - I have another one planned in my head as I am going to do a workshop on it at my local group.
Hope hubbies back improves, I am having a bad day now (me and my big mouth saying it was good) so have been sat all day with the hot water bottle. Nothing they can do for it but the chiropractic has helped and still is although I don't think it will ever be right. Tell hubby to be careful for a couple of weeks after the pain goes.
    Hugs, Neet 10 xx

  9. Pleased to hear you're enjoying the half term break and it wont be too long before Easter too. The LO looks nice. I found that it's a good idea when choosing a layout to photograph the ones I like as I try them out then I know which one I liked the best. Have a great week and a happy woyww, Angela x15x
