A mixed media few days.

First, I joined an ACT swap group on face book and this is my very first set to swap.

 I took part in a mixed media swap on UK Scrappers last month and made a couple of extra background with distress inks and some embossing paste. 

While blog hopping last week i was over at Wendy's blog and saw some gorgeous woodwear stamps ( i had to have them ) , I also ordered this one too- also by woodwear. I cut out the dragonflies and flowers and water coloured them before adding to the cards with foam.

I have also added a few items to my Etsy store this week.

 Peruvian Blue Opals in a smooth large nugget and smaller rondels. These are rosary linked with antique bronze wire. Its quite a long (35 inch) necklace. 

 I adore all Opals and love the colour of these with the wire.

 Using the same wire ( sorry its my fav!) I have rosary linked gorgeous tourmaline chips and rounds. I made the closure and it is just over 7 inches long.

 These pretty gems are actually GREEN Opals - who knew you could actually get green Opals?! 

I have randomly added some sterling silver stardust rondels.
