Februarys Tags

 This is for the tag swap on UK Scrappers. I can't believe I am ahead of the game- I am sure it won't last.

 The theme for this month is "heart" So I went full out .

I used distress stain to colour the background and then spritzed with white and sparkle  sprays.

I added a die cut hexagon piece to each tag .

 I found some peel off lace and then added tonic nuvo crystal drops in white along the edge. I then stamped the hearts onto more "stained" card and cut out.

I cut the middle out of some heart doilies and stained some tiny chip board hearts that I then covered with glossy accents. I rummaged in my stash to fine some metal hearts to add.

 To finish, I used this months free stamp on the Craft Stamper mag, cut it out and added a gem.

I added lots of distress mahogany pen around the added pieces and blended with a wet paint brush.
