Dilly Beans - Winter challenge

The Challenge this week at Dilly Beans is "Winter" . I do have some winter birthdays coming up and need to make some cards but I thought I'd like to do something different with the images. The great thing about digi stamps is that they are so versatile, you don't just have to print them out and colour them for projects. Of course that's great , as is the fact that they can be re sized so easily.

So, this week i have turned some of Megan's gorgeous stamps into stationary. Christmas thank you letters.

The trio of penguins was imported into a word document - I used Santa's sleigh font in red for the letter ( of course its much better to use your own writing , especially if it is from a child)

After I had finished, I still thought that it looked a little blank - so had another go but this time using another image as a watermark.
If you have "Word 2010" its quite a simple task to turn any image into a water mark:
  • Open word
  • Choose the "page layout" tab
  • Choose "water mark"
  • Click "custom water mark"
  • Click "picture"
  • browse for an image on your PC and insert
It's that simple - you can add the other images over the top and place them where ever you want .

I printed my "letter" out on card to colour with copics - you could print onto water colour printer paper and paint the images or just copier paper and use pencils.

Please pop by the blog to see the rest of the DT's gorgeous projects and leave a link to yours to have the chance to win some of Megan's digi stamps.
If you can't wait , Megan has a sale on HERE
