Not joined in with What's on Your Work desk Wednesday for sometime.
This is a weekly nosey around the creative blog's desks organised by the FAB Julia - you can join in HERE
My desk is covered once again with gemstones , although, at the back there is a pile of "stuff" including Pink Ink stamps and material that I want to have a go at and embroidery cottons. There is also some netting to create fly screens for daughter bedroom ( not got round to doing it yet- might not need to if I wait much longer!).At the back to the left is my die cutting machine - I made a whole load of cute boxes last week.

These are dyed Agate squares and bronze haematite to create a long necklace.
I personally have one in rounds and made another for the store but my sister bought it as soon as I listed it , so I need to make more.

This is the one I made earlier.
The Summer has gone SO quickly, back to work on Monday . I tried hard to get all appointments done over the Summer hols but I still have a few to do . Daughter 1 has an interview for PIP, Daughter 2 had an ASD assessment and a diabetic eye screening and I have an Eye test after I went to opticians last week and said Isometimes have double vision, have to go get them checked out at hospital. I shall be popular at work!!
Love Soojay xx

  1. SooJay - it's so lovely to see you back on the desks again!! I love seeing your jewellery making and those beads are really beautiful, the colours are glorious. Hope your eye test goes ok, double vision sounds a bit scary.

  4. Hi Soojay. Good to see you. It always happens, doesn't it? You think you have sussed everything out, got everything organised for everyone... and ...bang - there goes all the planning. I trust all the appointments go well.
Lovely necklace. The stones simply glimmer, don't they?
My elder daughter and family are in Cornwall at the moment and have had torrential rain this morning - but are now off to surf! I suppose it doesn't matter too much what the weather is doing if you are going to be in the water anyway...
    Take care. God bless.

  9. Your bead are simply gorgeous, Soojay, especially the multi-coloured ones - they look good enough to eat!! It's nice to see you back on here again. Thank you for your very supportive and understanding comment, and I am very sorry to hear that you have so much disability in the family to deal with. I hope your daughter's PIP assessment goes well too. The whole thing's a total nightmare, isn't it. I think they are trying to get rid of us all, and they can't do it the quick way, so they are settling for the slow way... I am so glad you liked my eco pads! Also that you are a fellow Dartmoor fan! I just love it up there. Hope you enjoyed your Cornwall holiday.

    Happy WOYWW,

  16. How great to see you! Laughed at the netting for the screen...another season will roll around! The beads are gorgeous, I think I prefer the squares over the rounds but it would be a very difficult choice! I hope work and appointments are tolerant of each other!
