The Retreat Creations -Part two

Last weekend at this time I was creating ( or starting to create ) some of these pages. We get to choose 5 classes over the weekend and there is often the opportunity to buy and extra class or two if you have time. I have to say I love the classes I chose but also love all the other classes too- its really difficult choosing which to do .
We nearly always get at least two pages out of each class and this class was the second page from Karen Moss's class using Dear Lizzy documentary papers.
The photo is of Dan and Meg earlier this year in Tintagel Cornwall.

She included some really pretty strips of washi tape - which I love.

the was also a gorgeous cork bow.

I used the left over watercolour card from the backing to this tag.

This class was taught by the Fab Ann Freeman and uses Pink Paislee Memorandum papers.
The photo is from Natalie's 30th Birthday party this year.

There was a whole pack of thickers included in the kit too.

I completed this yesterday with a couple of photos taken at the Retreat.

 I love the little clipboards.

It was made while I was "between" classes. The photo is of Dan and Meg taken by hubby when the three of them had a holiday in Cornwall earlier in the year. I could not go as I was working.

 Just a simple page .

I loved this class by Mel Hand (ATDML) and she had used her own photos of a trip to Harry Potter World. I remembered that I had been in 2013 with the school ( how lucky was I!?!) and hadn't printed out any of the photos. I started the page at the retreat but completed it at home

The kit uses the GORGEOUS Marion Smith "TimeKeeper" pages. I love these pages so much - i bought extras.

I used distress stain to colour the heart

and gilded a chipboard cog .

I still have a few more to show you but I also have a sick hubby , so not sure when I can photograph/complete.

  2. Hi Sue,
Another great project, it's so colourful! Sorry to hear hubby is poorly sick and hope he's not generous enough to share it with you and the rest of the gang :). What a shame you had to work when the clan came down in the summer. I would have come over to Gwyn for a visit :).
