Scrapology Card for May

This month we are using Visible Image Stamps Characters Found HERE.
I coloured mine with copic pens .

I die cut a heart shaped mount but it was so sickly pink , I painted it with white acrylic paint and then embossed it around the edge with shabby pink stampendous embossing powder.

I used glossy accents on the eyes and liquid pearls on the buttons

While searching though my box of die cuts, I found the blossoms and birds , so I cut up a memory box die to look like branches.
I have had the chipboard heart for ages _ not even sure where I got it from but am on a mission to use up stuff :). Hope you like it.

Paper Cutting

Okay - so you have seen my list of blogs I follow?  Not a day goes by when I don't check out new posts and today was no different . I found the gorgeous template and instructions on how to cut the one above here
My first attempt is above - I just used good quality printer paper. I do think that a thin card would be better but I wanted to get stuck  in , so just went for it.

I found an esty shop that sells templates - I bought 10 for $5 - not bad!
I might even have a go at drawing some myself - but for now I am just practicing. this one is No 2.

Right off to bed :)

52 Cards - week 17

Well, I am catching up again ! I spent Easter weekend ( well, four days altogether) in bed with an awful tummy bug and high temperature. Was off work the first week back and Shattered all last week . Thankfully now fully recovered so, now am catching up again.
The sketch for the challenge is below.

as you probably know- I Love Graphic 45, So chose one of the pockets and papers from sweet sentiments and secret  garden to make my card .  Shhhhhh its for our Wedding anniversary later this month.

 I have inked everything.

Added stickles to the butterfies and liquid pearls around the mat.

I die cut one of the mats with a spelbinder gold die.

I am in the process of changing my internet service and that means having to change my Email address. I have tried to do this on UKs but am unable to comment now- If anyone reads this - would you be a darling and let MaryAnn know- Cheers xx

Scrapology May Challege - Corrugated Card

This was a fun challenge- I did get quite messy though. I got out the paints, inks and sprays . Everything has either been inked or painted. I tore a piece of card board from some packaging and after distressing it, painting it and inking it, then used shabby white embossing powder on the edges.
Below is the sketch we used.

Below is the gorgeous original from Tracey Christine Funk, you can see more of her work HERE

 I just love it.

a close up of some of the flowers- all painted with white acrylic and then misted with Antique brass mist.

The flourish was painted white and then embossed with the shabby white embossing powder.

Most of the papers are from Maja Design and Bo Bunny.

My 30thy Birthday (I am the one with the BIG glasses) with my three Gorgeous sisters Andrea, Annette and Steph (next to me) - who sadly died two years ago- boy do I miss her!

 The embossed corrugated card .

Right, you NEED to pop over to the main blog top see the FAB inspiration from the rest of the DT .
