Dilly Beans - Black and White

Hello Friday - the one Friday I don't want to pass too quickly as its the last day of half term.
This week its nice and easy - just black and white at Dilly Beans.

Coloured with Copic pens. I have also used some black and white lace, Some black and white "pearls" and gingham ribbon.
The eye has glossy accents on it and if you look closely , you'll see a white heart.
The hair band has black stickles on it.

I found some stickers for the sentiment.

Please remember to use a DILLY BEANS IMAGE in your creation if you are joining in.  Thanks!

Whimsical Wednesday - Recycle it!

I bought some emergency washing powder a few weeks ago to tide me over till I went to do my large shop. This is the cute box it came in. As soon as it was empty ( unfortunately - not very long!) I knew i was going to use it again.

The box it self  is just under 4 inches cubed.
First I deconstructed it and lay the net out flat. I drew around the main body and cut out my cover . I used a strong wet, quick drying glue.

Our Sponsor this week is Inky Impressions
They are giving our winner $10 to spend in their store.

I used one of their stamps for the top of my box.

Coloured with copic pens

The sentiments on the front are from Whimsical Designs
I will fill the box with sweeties.

The side panels are just die-cuts, inked and the doily one has a tiny amount of glitter.

I also stamped the box before i placed the diecut on ( probably should have done this BEFORE I assembled it!)

Inchie Card

Second post today - this time more inchies but this time on a card..
I have used maja papers and butterflies and the background is secret garden from websters pages.

The stamp is one of Stephanie's from Whimsical Designes.

The butterflies are edges in diamond stickles.

The spray on the inchies is cosmic shimmer in plumb twist.
The inchies were inked, stamped and sprayed before they were cut and then the edges were inked again.

Prima Doll Tag

It's half term, I am up to date with all my DT projects and I have been playing.
I DO love these stamps ( i still only have two though!) . This one is my favorite, especially for paper piecing.
The papers are Maja spring basics and i just LOVE them.
I used distress ink on the tag followed by a chicken wire stamp- this one also has script on it.
I then sprayed with moon spritz ( emerald fire).

I cut some swirls with my bigshot  and handcut some butterflies from the maja paper.
I added a shadow around the stamp after i had cut her down with corduroy distress ink and a little water and also on the stamp itself.

I added liquid pearl "dots" to the dress and along the swirls .

Here is a shot that shows you that gorgeous moonglow spritz. - I need MORE of those!

New Addiction

More Inchies - Well another book actually.
I took the last one to school and the pupils were enthralled and I have had a few requested.

I love that they are quick to make and use up tiny bits of stash..

I found some tiny word stickers to use this time.

I Love the wings on this one.

Its only a pearlised acrylic paint used with a sencil but i love the 3D look to it.

The tiniest heart- waste from a die-cut and a tiny gem from a flower.

And the obligatory photo in hubby's hand.
Expect to see lots more of these - especially as it is half term and I am SO tired all i will do is spend time at my craft table :).

Song Inspired at Whimsical Wednesday

This week we want you to choose a song to inspire your project.
I was rummaging though my digi stamps and this young man jumped out- I can't even remember where I got him from but I know I hadn't used it before!
So My song is by the beach boy's - Surfin' USA.

this weeks challenge is sponsored by 3girl jam

They are giving the winner $15 to spend in thier store.

I have been trying to use up stash recently ( I have mountains of it!!)
I have had this "button" embellishment for years in one of my boxes. I also added some gorgeous  mesh and cheese cloth from recent buys.

He is coloured with copic pens

The sentiment is from Whimsical Designs of course.

I added glossy accents to his glasses and eye.
Do pop over to the MAIN BLOG to see the fab inspiration from the rest of the DT and to leave a link to your project.

Pintrest Inspired

I LOVE Pinterest and have collected lots of gorgeous inspiration.
I have even made some of the "pins"
This "Inchie Book" is totally inspired by the gorgeous books that Kira Nichols has made.

My inchies are stuck onto chip board ( Kira uses thin card ) so I have joined them with a phone cord.
I think i will use card nwxt time to make it less chunky.

Each "page" is just white card that has been inked with distress inks then sprayed with moonglow , then stamped , inked around the edges and drawn on.

I have found the time dies cut from memory box just fab for these.

I have just scrawled some words onto each square before assesmbling.

I Love the tiny birds - the branches were cut from a larger die.

Its amazing how much mess I have made from such a tiny project !!
I have used the smallest amount of stash though.

Here is Hubby holding the "book" so you can see how small it is.

Thanks Pinterest :)

Mum To Be

I Love this digi from ADFD , this is the second time i have used it but i forgot to photograph the first card.
My son Dan  asked me to make a card for one of the learning support workers at College who is leaving soon to have a baby. So this is for her.

I have used copic pens to colour her and just added stickles and rhinestones.

I like the bright colouirs and just embossed the background card.

The stamp is from Stephanie at Whimsical Designs - I thought the sentiment was just right for this image.

I am entering this into the ADFD "Anything Goes" challenge
