The glittery mount behind the main image is made from two prima packaging cards, painted and then glittered with antique glass glitter . I also used the left over bits of card to make the bunting.
The boarder under the fairy is an old bazzil edger boarder that has been inked and embossed . I also sprinkled more purple embossing powder overt it for a random effect.
The sketch can be found HERE . I am a little late with it. This is for last week. The twist was MEDIUM.
I used a pattern builder and a prima mask to create a 3D resist pattern. I then used distress inks to bring it to life. With a tiny bit of stickles glitter glue on the leaves.
I also used up some old Bo bunny white chip board flowers buy painting them and then inking them....Oh and I stitched along two sides.
I really enjoyed doing this, some of my favourite techniques! I used clear embossing powder and basic grey stamps on some white card. I then used distress inks to rub over the embossed images , cut them up and mounted onto black card for background.

The shells are some coloured in digital stamps From Sarah Hurley Designs. The frill is pieces of paper doily cut up and folded.

I am so sad that the holiday is almost over, I am back to school tomorrow but at least we have a long weekend ahead before the manic Summer term takes hold.
I promise to use some of my other stamps - I even have other Sweet Pea stamps. This one is my Fav! I love the different looks just from changing the colour.
As anyone who knows me will know, green is my favourite Colour. This Card I am entering into three challenges...I never enter challenges ( not for cards anyway) .

The recipe is HERE. I used the gold and circles as my inspiration. I have had theses bazzill chipboard flowers for AGES. I used the left over piece for my card. I still have the flower to use somewhere else.
One of Martha's punched butterflies, backed with paper gives it a bit more strength.
100's ( well no..45 actually) punched mini flowers around the edge.
The Easiest bit was the painting. I always mess up on where to put the sentiment and how to add it. I perfer stamped sentiments but dont always leave room on the card for them!
I do love this stamp. You may well see her again soon.
I love these stamps..I know they have been around for a little while. I just thought they looked a little intimidating to colour. This was done (as always) with water colour pencils and a little stickles and liquid pearls to highlight. I am not brave enough to use pens, apart from the cost of them, they seem scary to use. 
This was made for one of daughter friends..they are all 16 this year ( seems like most of them are this month too!).
The Stamp came free with crafts beautiful mag. I LOVE free stamps!! ..They are lovely to use too.
Papers are MME Stella and Rose Hattie 6x 6. I also used one of the new Spellbinder label dies and the sentiment is one of Kirsty Wiseman's.

I couldn't find any thin gold card or paper ( I am SURE I have some, somewhere!) so, I gold embossed the edge of some white card to back the nestie cuts.
Do not adjust your screen ..yup lots of pink! Meg, although not too girly, does love pink :)
I gave the fairy Megs colouring and her green eyes. As always, I just used water colour pencils.
I have two daughters, one niece and lots of other friends Birthdays this month.

It's someone's birthday tomorrow :) I asked hubby to get a badge when he went shopping but he couldn't find one (typical man! ...sorry) Anyway i made one , just gotta pop the pin on the back.......
