Chicken Soup No 9

Recipe No 9 can be found HERE.
There are some colour combo's that you just can't go wrong with and these are some of them. As soon as i saw the image for this weeks inspiration i knew i would love playing along.
I used liquid pearls to accent the dots on the letters.

I punched holes in the dots to thread ribbon though. Did I tell you yet that I LOVE these colours?
The finished Layout - although I only just noticed -no journaling!! Will have to sort that. The Gorgeous girls is of course my niece Rosie and the photo was taken by her "fairy godmother" a fab photographer. Check out her site HERE.

Twisted Sketch No 064

On a roll now! Just as my holiday is coming to an end.

This took me about an hour to do - anyone who knows me will know that is almost impossible.

I am really pleased with it, apart from the fact that i LOVE these colours together, I managed to use mostly "old" stash. Basic grey from years ago. One piece was stamped over with my inkadinkado Halloween trees.

Title was another "old" rubon.
You should see the state on my "craft room"/Dining room !!!!

Twisted Sketch No 063

The Twist was fold anyway anyhow.

Very Simple Layout. Just back the area to cut with contrasting paper and then cut an "X" where you want the photo to go.

Finished off with a brads ( I have boxes and boxes to use up) and an updated flower from a scrapaGoGo kit from years ago :)

I also made a couple more cards - I have another 5 to make before I go back to school!

Free paper ( from Mag) and stamped, cut out cupcakes.

Still using the stamped images from Nets Fabby stamps.

I have run out now so need to think about getting my own set. As you can see , i still have her boarder punch ;) I WILL give it back :D

Chicken Soup No 8

The next recipe No8 can be found HERE.
I liked the big letters so used them for the title .

I forgot the glossy accent letters were wet and messed them up a bit so added a touch of distress stickles in Vintage Photo over the top to hide my mistake :)

A double layout

Its a long time since i did one of these! there was a challenge on ATDML to use more than one photo on a layout. I have hundreds of photos of Megan pulling faces at me , so , more than enough for the challenge.
I used a stamps of "mothers sayings" to do all the journaling. I cut it into strips along the bottom.
The beautiful lace is from my local material shop.
The flowers were made with Tims die and a dotty stamp.
I Love these papers as the next Layout and card show ! LOL They are October afternoon- double sided thift shop papers.
I used the slice to do the title and pinched Annette's boarder punch for the edges ( I will give it back Nets i promise!) I also had a play with her new Walsingmouse stamps- I now need these but she whipped them away before i had the chance to pilfer :) Best get my own set then!
These were done yesterday at a FAB Norfolk crop with friends - Friends who managed to get LOADS more done than i did LOL.

Those Yummy stamps again !

Chicken Soup Recipe No. 7

Find the Recipe HERE
I love all the pastel colours and the opportunity to use up lots of "bits" of patterned paper.

I used Tim's grunge board alphabet, acrylic paint, a dotty stamp and crackle glaze for the title.
I love crocheting ( i can't knit very well), so crocheted around the photo mat.

A little bit of bling, some journaling and flower to finish.

Two challenges in one.

Its the only way I can keep up as I am so slow! The Chicken Soup Challenge Here recipe No 6. I used lots of pastels from the image. Also Last weeks Twisted Sketch Here No 061 - the twist was "rough" and i used co ordinations card which was sanded around the edge.

Twisted Layout.

Twisted Sketch No 60. The twist was to use "Joy" anyway anyhow.
The photo is one of Megan's. Taken with her phone. She has hundreds like this :)

I won't apologize for using these MME papers again...i just LOVE them. They remind me of milliflorie ( i am sure i spelt that wrong!)

A Couple More.

I think this is my fav one as i love the colours and flowers. The paper was free with the last copy of Cardmaking and Papercraft and is MME quite contrary ...you get a whole pad with 36 sheets of 6 x 6 inches.
I have used glossy accents over the word "Love" .
Loads of ribbon and a punched out flower.
I just used the pink card that i had spritzed previously and added a bronze glimmer mist.

Nestibilities label die No 6 as a mat.

Happy VALENTINES ?!!??

I have been playing with those yummy stamps from Waltzing Mouse. This stamp is from the Wanda's Pantry set. I had one tiny bottle left from a set of three that i bought years ago. I put some stazon refill in it with a couple of drops of glossy accents and dripped some black stickles glitter glue down the side.
I used Lava Red cosmic shimmer to spritz some pink card and then when dry stamped on it. Where there are large droplets, i added dimension with glossy accents to make it look like blood.

I don't often do the inside of cards but couldn't resist leaving this message. I used the Twilight font for this and the little "drink me" label on the bottle.
I have a couple more to finish...will upload later.

I bought Jessica Spragg's hybrid kit and printed it out to make my book.
Theres a video tutorial HERE - Not of mine though . There is also a link to buy the kit a little further down the page.
It was great fun to decorate all the pages.
I used up scraps of paper, ribbon, stickers rubons and bling.

Both my girls are doing their own version later this week and i will try to get them photographed to show you.
I like that the elements can also be used on scrapbook pages and cards.
I will try to get one of each done soon.
