Using up backgrounds
After playing with those Gorgeous Nuvo shimmer powder paints _ AND adding some cosmic pixie powder paints to the stash, Meg wanted to have a go as well. She actually had several sessions at making these backgrounds.
I have quite a few to use up.
I started by making a few more pupil notebooks for school. This one has Julie Hickey stamps, painted with H20's and die cut.
This is left a littler plainer and I just stencilled over it.
I LOVE how this one turned out. I used the honeycomb stencil and the Bee die (£6 from Hobbycraft).
Isn't it gorgeous.
More Julie Hickey stamps die cut.
There is an uplifting quote on the back of each book too.
I then Diecut some of those backgrounds and stamped over a few and embossed with white embossing powder. ( again Julie Hickey stamps).
This is my fav.
I added liquid pearls.
I will probably take the sentiment banner off and use something else - it wasn't until I photographed that I realised it doesn't go at all and is far too dark.
I also made a lovely long Jasper,Amethyst,Moonstone and Haematite necklace while watching TV - So quite a productive weekend so far.
