Pupil Note books

A large part of my week at work is now taken up with counselling pupils, whether it is for bereavement, self esteem, anger management, self harm, anxiety, depression or a specific mental health problem. Its not just me, there are a team of us as services outside of school are few and there are long waiting lists.
I sometimes give a pupil a note book to write thiongs down in if it is appropriate. I usually pop to poundland to buy as many note books as I can . These were 2 for £1. I decorate them to make them a little more personal. These two already have homes.

They are just the right size for a spritzed postcard. I then stamped with Lavinia stamps annd a sentiment.

I added a little glitter glue and Nuvo crystal drops ( see last post for details of theses).

The background on this one is distress stains and cosmic shimmer spray. Again stamped with Lavinia stamps.

I need to shop for more now.

  2. What a lovely idea to give these beautifully decorated notebooks to your pupils. A very special job you are doing. It must be quite difficult at times. Barbxx

  3. Hi Sue,
These are both beautiful. I thing I like the blue shade one with the dragonfly the best. It's such a shame that kids in school these days need to have counselling isn't it. School days are meant to be some of the best days of our lives. It was all so much easier back when I was young. You're doing a great job, Sue.
