Playing on a Sunday

The weeks just whizz past and there is so much to do at the weekends - I still have some laundry to sort and tea to cook!
I do craft but often it will be for a DT or challenge. Today I got up really early to get most of the "other stuff" done so I could play with some new water colour paints.
I didn't really paint just washed the water colour card with a couple of colours and splattered some contrasting colours over the top.

When it was dry , I stamps with a script stamp and popped some cut out hearts in the corner.

Some sticky letters added and i drew a boarder- done . I have some other pieces ready to play with but alas I have to go cook tea.

Virtual Cyber crop -ATDML

My weekend did not go as planned otherwise there would be lots more pages done. That said, It was very enjoyable on Saturday morning to join in with the "A Trip Down memory Lane" online crop.
This was from Ann's Class . I did not buy the kit as I have SO much stash- instead I used up lots of old papers - mostly Basic grey.

There were lots of layers

all the edges were distressed.

The Original from Ann is HERE

This one is my take on Karen's class .

Lots of pretty floral papers ( again from my own stash).

I enjoyed cutting out the papers ( lots of graphic 45) and making the flowers.
Karen's is HERE.

I will do some more ( hopefully at the weekend -lets hope its less dramatic!!)

Scrapology - "Anything Goes"

The new Card Challenge at Scrapology is ... yes you guessed ..."Anything goes"
I had this one completed for another challenge but used the wrong stamp. It meets the challenge though.
Coloured with copic pens.

I also made this one with one of the Prima Doll stamps. I don't have enough "boy" cards.

I used a script stamp over his face and hands. The rest is just paper pieced.

If you go to the MAIN BLOG, you will see some gorgeous cards from the rest of the DT and details of the fab prize.

New Dies :) :) :)

I have wanted these Taylored Expression Dies for AGES! They have always been out of stock , where ever I looked.
But...I finally found them back in stock HERE
You had better be quick if you want them too , I don't think they will last long.

I had to "play" as soon as I got them.

I kept it simple just using a couple of pieces of p paper, ribbon and pearls.

The "thanks" die is from Memory box . Also bought at Crafts U Love.

The deer is perfect for my work Christmas Cards. Our school emblem is a deer.

I can see me getting lots of use out of these.

I love these papers as there are so many elements that you can cut out and use.

Do pop over to the main blog for more details of how to enter and some wonderful inspiration from the rest of the design team.
