Dilly Beans Autumn

An Autumn Card is require for the Dilly Beans Challenge this week. You do not have to use Autumn colours like I have though.

My title was die cut and then, when cut down. glossy accents applied.

Spellbinder swirly leaf dies are used to decorate with lots of pearls and bling.

I have used distress stickles in three different colours to complement the flowers in her hair.

I love these die cuts - not always easy to get such delicate cuts out of the die, but the more times you use them, the easier it gets.

Coloured with copic pens and glossy accents used on the ewyes.

Go check out the Fab stuff the rest of the DT have done and don't forget you leave a link to your card so you get the chance to win some of Megan's FAB stamps.

My Boss's Birthday

Is on Tuesday. Thankfully she has read 50 Shades and we have had a laugh about them - I thought this might make her smile.
The Stamp is called Grey Tie and is from Saturated Canary.
Coloured with Copic pens. Hope she likes it.  :/

Gotta get those Christmas cards made!

What better way than using one Digi stamp to make four cards!
They are 3 x 3 and one 4 x 4 inch cards.

The stamp is of course on of Dilly beans Christmas Stamps.
They come in a set of four in a square formation but i cut then up to use singly.
 I Love colouring Megan's stamps .

I have used copic pens, glitter glue and a few stickers. Even some mini pom poms i found for this particular one.
Every Christmas i just bag up all the papers and Christmasy "bits" to use again. I found this gorgeous sparkly paper in one bag.
My desk is such a mess - i didn't realize until i had finished that this card was a different size!!!

Dilly Beans Autumn Colours

The theme at Dilly Beans this week is Autumn Colours.
I have made a Tri Arch similar to this before for a cyber crop at ATDML . I love those cute Owls so much that I thought they would be great for this project.

 here it is laying flat

The other great thing about Digi stamps is that you can print them any size , so I have made them small (about 6 cm).

I searched for a "booky"quote to add to the bottom and printed it onto pattered paper for the bottom.

Decorated with punch out leaves.
Pop Over to the blog to see the gorgeous cards from the rest of the design team- you could win some of Megan's gorgeous Dilly bean Digi Stamps.

Less is More

I prefer this version AND it takes a lot less time to make!

I am still waiting for the glitter glue to dry but the light is fading fast.
You can click on the image to enlarge it.

My daughter Meg prefers the Original ( and to be fair it does look better IRL) but I like the second one - How about You?

A Christmas Card

Not very happy with how this turned out - I LOVE that stamp but i think i tried to be too clever- I think it will look a lot better just stamped and coloured in .

goodness knows why i chose those background colours either!! So drab.
i am going to have another go with this and maybe pop back later ( if the light holds out)

Scrapology September Card

This month we want you to make a Christmas card but will things that you wouldn't usually use for Christmas. I will admit that I found this hard and for this card have still used a Christmas stamp.

The background is the packaging that comes with Waltzing mouse stamps- the size was perfect , so I haven't even cut it. I added a doily before I placed my digi stamp onto the card.
The banner stamps were bought for this summers celebrations.

I found the tag while looking for inspiration- it was left over from a botanical kit at ATDML retreat last year. I just stamped straight on to it.
The stamp IS a Christmas one from Dilly Beans and is coloured with copic pens.

Don't forget to pop over to the BLOG to see the fab and "strange" things the rest of the DT have made their cards from ( they are SO much more creative!)
This month we are sponsored by Natalie O'Shea from Stampin Up and she hasd a great prize for the winner.
