WOYWW 580

This mess is whats on my desk today - hopefully by the time this goes live it will be a bit tidier.
I have spent most of the week organizing my gemstones and "made pieces" . Today ( Tuesday) was the turn of the silver stuff.

This box fell on the floor - I swear I was no where near it and I thought it wasn't balanced precariously . All those teeny tiny beads went all over the floor - they are sterling silver , so i spent quite sometime picking each one up. ahhh. They are now in little screw top jars - lesson learned !!

I made a few stretchy bracelets for the store and as some were unisex, managed to persuade Dan to model them for me - It's a pain trying to find different way to display things.

Waiting for the glue to dry overnight before I cut off the tails.

I adore working with pearls and yummy pretty gemstones and rosary linking is my fave.

Anyway that all my creating this week and I am back at work now for the last week of term so I will pop round the blogs after work and over the next couple of evenings.
If you would like to join in with the blog hop , please pop over to Julia's Blog where you can find all the details.

Other news- we all went out yesterday evening - we went to Mac Donald's drive through ( i know , we know how to live!) . We had hand gel, Dex had a mask ( for paying) and I did my best to wipe everything down . Meg screamed when we told her. She and her sister have not left the house since March - Vulnerable. We even had entertainment as a young lad was arrested in the car next to us  - ohh dear , kept my lot quiet though .

  1. Yay, thank you so much! I'm rarely a winner in comps/raffles etc so this is lovely *happy dance*
I do love the hairy armed model, actually the bracelet looks really good on a bloke. I do love seeing all the sparkly and shiny bits and pieces though I am sorry that they got tipped all over the floor!
I shall email you straight away xx

  2. What a mess losing those beads all over the floor, could have been worse, imagine seed beads! You have been a busy bee making all those bracelets and the necklace looks lovely, the black display shows it off beautifully. Hope you get lots of sales, sorry I hardly wear jewellery apart from rings. But I do have all the stuff to make jewellery myself as I used to be into it big time.
Chas always said he would never date someone wearing lots of rings - then he ends up with me. House was broken into a couple of times and I vowed I would only buy good stuff that I would wear all the time. Actually not wearing my rings these days because of all the hand washing - cloggging the settings with soap!
Have a good and productive week, if you want one. School near the end of term?
    Hugs, Neet 4 xx

  3. Hello. I love looking at all of your jewelry elements and then looking at finished products are the icing on the cake. We have been very cautious going out too. I finally took both boys (masked up) to Target to pick up a few things. I plan on going with them today because I think cabin fever has set in. I am worried that we are going backwards over here in the US. I suspect a stay in place in the next month or so despite them wanting to open up schools. Stay safe, my friend.

  4. Hi Soojay, I feel for you with those beads ending up all over the floor! I sat and sorted all my eyelets/brads into tiny containers- think they were for nail art stuff- popped on the lids, put the lid on the box, and promptly dropped it when I picked it up. They went everywhere. Back to square one, lol. Love the bracelets and the necklace, so beautiful. Stay Safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #7 X

  8. Hi Sue, so pleased to have won one of your gorgeous bracelets what a lovely surprise. Loving your busy desk too and hope you enjoy the last week of term, lets hope there is some sort of normality for the next school year. I can just imagine your thoughts when the beads dropped on the floor, what a pain having to pick all those up but at least they should be more secure now. Off to send you the email. Thanks for the comment over at mine and wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x15x

  9. Its come to something hasn't it when drive thru mcDonalds is going out! I think we are possibly even worse as we haven't even done that. My heart goes out to you - small beads all over the floor - just makes you want to weep! I've done that and also dropped my boxes of 'candi' once. Some of it just went in the bin lol. Hapy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, Cindy #11xx

  10. Beautiful work Sue. Glad you managed to find all your bits after the box fell. I still have not properly resorted the box of brads from years ago when it happened to me. Sounds like an exciting first visit to the drive through lol. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #5

  11. How terrible to have to pick up all those loose little bits, I would be so tempted to just use the vacuum! Stunning jewellery and the model is doing a stirling job. Stay safe as you create.

  12. Hi Soojay, loving those bead bracelets - I used to work for a company that sold them online so I know all the names of the semi-precious stones! Good of Dan to model the male design for you - I was thinking, surely that's not your wrist LOL! The necklace is stunning too - very delicate looking. Thanks for your visit earlier! Enjoy the rest of the week! xx zsuzsa #10

  13. Hi Soojay,
How is it that boxes of beads, sequins and the like can just manage to tip them selves up? I remember having just sorted two divided boxes of embellishments finding one on the floor. Well... it could have been both! Happy sorting!
    Lovely bracelets!
Stay safe and keep well! Happy woyww! Susan #15

  15. Glad you found all your little pieces! With my luck some would have fallen into the floor heating vent! Kudos to Dan for modeling! Your pieces are all beautiful! Thanks for popping by! Have a wonderful week!

  17. A belated happy WOYWW, I felt for you playing pick up - not a good game to play with tiny items. So excited to be a winner, thank you so much.

  18. I don't envy you having to pick up all those beads from the floor - I recently have spent a morning picking up thousands of sequens that fell on the floor huh! Love your unisex bracelets. I had to laugh - living the good life nowadays is a trip to McDonalds! Eh...new normal it is called!
    Have a lovely week!
