WOYWW 576

Welcome to What's on your work desk Wednesday- Episode 576, I have done probably much less than 100 - but the lady who has completed everyone and has all the info about linking up is Julia.

There isn't much going on today but I do need to create a scrapbook page for a challenge by Friday .
I would also like to play with the new dies that make box frames.

This is my other desk - work desk at the moment - sorry its a bit dark in here today - well most days.

I also make jewellery to sell in an Etsy store ,these are a few of my supplies ( along with some mixed media created recently.
I have a zoom call with the head this week and the following photo is the view he will have if my head doesn't fill up the screen. So i NEED to have a sort though and try to decrease the mess!!

 EEEkkk!!

Mostly things I have made -little books - in there somewhere is a sewing machine and embroidery  stuff . Not really sure WHERE I can put it but I will be trying to organize it all today .

Ohh and there's this too! The boxes on the right contain my made up jewellery . hummm , if I am not back by next week - send someone out.
Hopefully it wont take too long ....but first coffee!

Have a great week
Love Soojay xx

  1. Hope the tidying goes well Sue and that you don't get too sidetracked by discoveries of forgotten items and stash lol. I have a zoom staff meeting later today too, luckily the shelves behind me are all tidy. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #8

  2. Morning Soojay. Ah... yes. The head might just wonder what is going on. We'll look out for you next week, just to check you got out safely. Trouble is, it all looks so fascinating... I'd be lost in there for years!
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  3. I think you should do a very tight head shot so your Head doesn't see any of your room!! I hate doing Zoom/FaceTime etc as I hate what I look like on the screen. I did see an article about the perfect makeup and angle for the laptop so that you look your best but frankly I couodn't be bothered, lol! It's not the right attitude really is it, lol!!

  6. Hi Soojay, sewing machine, embroidery, jewellery, scrapbooking, card making - are you my secret twin sister?? I have to confess I just want to try most crafts. If I could pack in work and just craft I would. I have so much 'stash' I'm sure it would see me through retirement! But then, new stamps and inks and dies come out so I'd best stay working to buy them! OMG I'm a shopaholic ... or a craftaholic! I would definitely like a snoop around your craft room, I love all the storage! Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #13

  7. So many different crafts - I'm not surprised you need a sort out! Hope you manage to get it done - a bit of tidying is always therapeutic in my view - even if you know it won't last! Happy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, Hugs Cindy x

  9. Hi Soojay, tidying is just one of those jobs that makes much more mess before it starts to look better! And I think we all go for a change around every now and again. Stay safe, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #16 X

  10. Didn't realise whose blog I was on until I saw your display and recognised the circular eclectic man - then a lightbulb moment told me it was you. Are you doing the 25th July one? I can't wait, that is really up my street. Just hope my back holds up better than it did for the eclectic man.
In fact sorry I am so late, had a bad day yesterday and today is not much better as yet. But did have two and a bit days of no pain before which is why I got some crafting done with the circular pear and the other one I did afterwards. I loved that technique.
If you don't get tidied up can you turn the screen around so it is the opposite way or just dump the stuff on the other side of the room? Not helping am I. Go get a cuppa like Lynne did and have a think.
In the meantime, stay safe and well
    Hugs, Neet 6 xx

  11. Have fun tidying!
When my daughter had to do zoom meetings with teacher colleagues and parent interviews she arranged a small table with her back to the wall. She placed an attractive painting on the wall. The other side of her computer was her usual untidiness!

  12. Hope you managed to tidy up in time for a nice neat background for your Zoom session, Sue! What a glorious mess in your room - made me feel quite at home! Mine seems to be in a constant state of tip and chaos at the moment, partly because I am in the middle of knitting projects and it's a major operation lifting down the banana boxes from the high shelf full of yarns, and I can't be bothered to put them away till I know I shan't want them again for a while! So there's not much floor space at the moment. I love all your fabulous storage - shelves and drawers etc. It all looks very smart.

Thank you for your visit and your comment that made me smile - I apologise for once again fuelling your pantry envy! I am already experiencing the benefit of my reorganisation - it's brilliant being able to find things more easily now. I'm really glad you like my new dress too. The boho/ethnic style is my absolute favourite and so easy to wear, and mostly it's not too critical what size you are! I'm now having fun trawling Ebay for more things and for Indian fabrics and trims as well - my creative juices are really flowing at the moment. The garden is all down to my hubby's hard work and this year it's great, because he's been around so much with the lockdown, and we are really enjoying it. Please don't apologise for being late - in my book, anything up till 11.59 p.m. on the Tuesday night before the next WOYWW is fine by me!! I can never visit everyone on the Wednesday as it takes too long and I like to do it over several days. So Thursday is early by my reckoning!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  17. Oh looks like you need a screen for zoom calls!!! I got one as my PC is in my bedroom which houses my craftcorner. Son uses it most of the time though as he shares the front room with his dad where both their pcs are.
    Thanks for the visit BJ#7

  18. Sorry I’m late! Hope the zoom call went OK and more to the point, you managed to redistribute stuff to your satisfaction. I hate it...it usually leads to a bad tempered clear out just when you don’t want to spend the time clearing out! did you see the BJ has brought a folding screen to put behind her for zoom calling,? reminds me of when we were Air B&B guests in America and the room we were in had a shower curtain stapled to the ceiling in front of a floor to ceiling bookcase. He explained that it was a mess and he couldn’t face clearing it! We were VERY good and didn’t look behind it! Are you Soojay On Etsy? I shall go investigate. I think we need to see some of your jewellery Missus, after all, its part of your Workdesk shenanigans! I do not know how you make the time, and you’re a little bit amazing!
