Very later posting today!!  Forgot and got stuck into school work before I remembered. Then had to tidy a bit so you could actually see the desk! Last night was very "stressy" My adult children are starting to struggle this week - OCD , Tourettes are becoming worse . After I calmed them down and we talked about how we can cope, I took to fussy cutting - The world is a little brighter this morning. One of the support workers delivered some herbs and tomatoes for them to care for this morning - left them on the front step and shouted instructions from the car - BRILLIANT!! :) They listen to others more tyhan me even when we say the same stuff ha ha- isn't it always the case no matter what age.

Anyway, back to my desk- postie delivered these goodies this morning - I was obviously in need of lemon paint ha ha - can't wait to play with these.

One of Tracy Evans stamps (aall and create) was also in the package - wasn't sure about ordering this one until I saw how she used it - I even have a project ready - watch this space!

I posted this on my blog yesterday - The flag book made at the weekend ( mostly Sat and Monday , Sunday out looking for painkillers for daughter wisdom tooth !)
It was great fun to do - more images on yesterdays post.

I am fed up with all the covid 19 "funnies" - so found this instead , which should appeal to my teacher friends too.

"A truck loaded with thousands of copies of Roget's Thesaurus crashed yesterday losing its entire load. Witnesses were stunned, startled, aghast, taken aback, stupefied, confused, shocked, rattled, paralysed, dazed, bewildered, mixed up, surprised, awed, dumbfounded, nonplussed, flabbergasted, astounded, amazed, confounded, astonished, overwhelmed, horrified, numbed, speechless, and perplexed."

Have a good week ,Stay safe xx

  3. Hi Soojay. Brilliant! Love the funny!! Great names for those paints! Of course you needed more... Can a girl ever have too many?? I think a lot of folks are feeling "cabin fever" at the moment - and it must be hard for your two to stay relaxed in it all. Trust all stays better.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

  4. Hi Soojay, love the funny! It must be difficult for you to manage all the issues at the best of times, this period must be making it so much worse. And yes, ALL kids listen to others before their parents! Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz#10 X

  5. Ha, loved the thesaurus funny! I'm fed up with all the people saying how you should do 125 pressups a day or whatever. I think that you're all doing amazingly well in these weird times and the support workers had very good timing bringing the plants.

  6. Hi Sue. Yes very funny, amusing, comical, hilarious, laughable, humorous, witty....well you know what I mean lol! Your children are like my mother, I often find that the carers tell her the same thing as me but she believes them but usually finds an excuse why I must be wrong. Loving the new stash and know you'll be having fun soon. Have a lovely happy woyww and keep safe, Angela x16x

  9. I love the Thesauraus funny at the end, really made me laugh. I guess we are all having up days and down days, but it sounds like the plants came at just the right time - how kind of the support worker. I love you new stash and I'm sure you'll have some lovely relaxing 'play' time trying it all out . I adore beetles so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with that gorgeous new stamp!
    Have a great week,

  10. Lovely photo and funny at the end of your post. Have to agree with you about children generally listening to others before their parents. But, it all comes full circle when as adults they repeat exactly what you said. Haha. Stay safe and keep creating those beautiful projects.

  13. This lockdown, unfortunately, is hardest on those with children with special needs (as well as those children!). You seem to have some great support which, I am sure, helps a lot. It is also nice that you have an outlet for yourself. I love the beetle stamps! And your flag book looks intriguing! Have a wonderful week, stay safe, Lindart #31

  14. HI Sue, ooh that was so nice of them to find the plants for your kids and the words for the book shot are so fun but, I would totally cry if I had to pick them all up. :) Love how happy the colors are on your desk today too. ~Stacy #30

  16. Sorry to hear you are having family struggles, Sue, but glad you can take refuge in some creativity and some calming fussy cutting! You've got some lovely new stash to play with, too. I love the funny - I read it out to my hubby and we both had a good laugh! Thank you for your visit. My new machine has arrived, and today my whole food order came too so I've got lots of soya beans to play with now! It shouldn't be too complicated with the machine.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  17. So sorry I am so late mainly because of the computer - now got a new one - yeah - someone turned up trumps and bought me a new one.
So glad the plants turned up and helped - I can understand the frustration with all the self isolating etc - and so sorry about the toothache!
Oh heck - you too! Tracy is responsible for a bigger hole in my bank balance than anticipated but up to now have not bought more paint. Must try to find paint in the colours, or close, regardless of manufacturer because I have lots.
Never been a fan of flag tag books so I didn't join that one but am in next weekend - are you? Hope my stamps arrive in time. Saying that yours looks very nice, its just a thing I have from years ago when I made my first and they reminded me of finger posts because the tags had rounded ends.
Didn't get the beetle because I am not keen on them but seeing what T did I am dithering - just like I am with the trowel and fork after the other days picture. What's money?
    Hugs, Neet xx
