WOYWW 337

Not much creating although I have been busy( last few posts). To the right of the desk is an art journal page ( yesterdays post). In the middle some inches and twinchies from my sister ( we did a swap ) .

Theses are the ones she made for me - aren't they fab?

To the left of my desk is a Bo Bunny Misc Me journal with some blank sleeves. I decided to make a December daily journal ( my first one) this year - I am hoping I will be able to get it done - December is always SO busy at home and at school- even if i just remember to jot a few things down and take daily photographs , I shall be pleased. I might start to get the page backgrounds ready but need to look at others to see HOW I want to do it. Any ideas or links to examples would be gratefully received.

If you would like to join in with the desk hop, pop over to see Julia's blog for all the info.

  1. I am always tempted by December Daily, but it's always so busy that it tends to fall by the wayside pretty quickly., I feel sure if I managed ONE I would be able to carry on doing them, but then I also think oing ONE would be enough :)
    Cute inchies!

    not late, for a change!
    Happy WOYWW!

  12. Love your inches and twinches, Sue what a lovely collection to receive.
I used to do December journals every year but haven't for a few years, might have to get back into it again, they are great to look back on. I'm sure there will be examples out there, I think I first saw one in a magazine, but I'm going back a bit. Pinterest might be a good place to look.
    Have a good week.

  16. Hi Sue, if I get stuck with the new mosaic thingy I'll be round for some ideas. I saw it and thought it looked interesting but not sure when I will use it. You wont be disappointed with the Lavinia stamps they are lovely and all go together so well, Tracy is good with her designs. Daily journal sounds a bit like hard work but a good idea if you can keep it up... I will expect to see the results Lol! Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 26

  18. I get to about the 15th of December and fall off the wagon - I'm ot good at journalling, it feels very self conscious, and then I use that as my excuse to not find the 15 minutes or so a day. I wish you luck and just know that you'll be more tenacious! I love that you swap with your sister....my crafting sister has reached into fabric and design..a place that I am unable to go, so our swapping days are over!!

  20. I have made a christmas journal every year since 2007, and have managed to keep up with them all. I do use Shimelle's prompts but not every day, sometimes they give me ideas of what to write, other times I just include what I have been up to on that day.
I keep up by making sure most of my kit is ready to go before the first. If i don't get time on the day then I just make a few notes and put them to one side until the weekend.
It is an effort, but when I look at my journals from 8 year ago when my son (who is in his late teens now) was only 9, I am so glad I made them.
All of mine are posted on my blog.
