AuroraWings - Blog Challenge launch

I found the most wonderful store on Esty via facebook : AuroraWings
VERY difficult to just "look". If you join the face book group, Mitzi, the Wonderful artist, often pop discount codes up . Of course you also NEED to follow the Challenge blog too.
The first challenge is now up "Anything Goes" .
I have used three stamps on this card. The Gorgeous pixie fairy and two hydrangea stamps.

The backgound oval is made with water colour cartridge paper. It was wetted, washed in purple and pink water colour paints and then sprayed and "dotted" with inks.

All the stamps where colured with copic pens. I have added liquid pearls to the centres of some of the flower heads. Hydrangeas are one of my favourite flowers.

I added a little glossy accents to the fairy's eyes.

The papers for the background are from Graphic 45 - Secret Garden and Sweet Sentiments.
I added a tiny amount of stickles glitter glue to the wings, some velvet ribbon and pearls.

Craft Barn Q & L Challenge

This time we were given the words" Age "and"Road". As you can see I chose Road.
I started off with some yellow card stock and brushed distress inks over it.

I hand painted the bricks in glossy accents- the glue hols the shape quite well.
when dry , I spritzed and dotted inks and water until i was happy with the colour.

the words are stickers and rub on's .

the arrow was painted and then covered in crackle glaze.  I then used distress ink over this and around the edges of the page before sticking it into my journal.

I found the quote on pinterest.
