May Scrapology - Hand Stitched

Opps Should have posted this yesterday! Was ferrying Hubby to and from hospital for a small op on his leg , as well as working and sorting kids out - was a bit shattered last night!
Anyway.... the photo is of my beautiful niece Rosie ( I have left a space for the date as I need to ask Sis - think it was a couple of years ago now)
We want to see hand stitching on your pages this month- we were inspired by the following sketch

and this page by Delia Burns

Isn't it Beautiful.

I have mounted the photo onto ripped vellum and then some used up some scraps of paper the place behind it. I found some diecut flowers and added a little glitter glue .

I punched out some flowers in complimentary papers -added a punched velour center ( can you remember when we all went mads for velour papers? - I still have loads!) I drew and cut out the leaves and added some liquid pearls "dots"

I used bakers twine for the stitching .

please pop over to the main blog to see the stunning inspiration from the restr of the DT and details of how to be in with a chance of a fab prize.

Soojay xx
